The below method is typically used when the database server and the Thinscale Server both need to be replaced either because the server is too old of a version to be upgraded, the TS server is connecting to a Local Database, or a corruption of both occurred.

Best practise is to have the database server and the Thinscale Server on separate Windows servers!
Phase 1:
In Phase 1 we are preparing the new server in reference to the old server, and migrating Profiles and Software Packages. The demonstration below shows an older version of server connected to a Local Database, and migration and upgrade of the client devices.
Phase 2:
Phase 2 is where we migrate all devices to the new server.
