The much-anticipated release of TDA v8 brings a wave of excitement to users, offering a plethora of updates and improvements under the hood, largely stemming from the SRW and TK code base. This latest version showcases a meticulous refinement of the software's core, enhancing its performance, stability, and overall user experience. The SRW and TK code base contributions have played a pivotal role in optimizing the underlying architecture. TDA v8 is not merely an update; it represents a leap forward in the technological foundation of the ThinScale Software Suite.

Impacted version 8.4.11

We want to inform you about a critical issue identified in version 8.4.11. This version has been impacted by the 24H2 version of Windows.
Symptoms are "Core Service not starting" and some "Access Denied" messages on some Windows Apps

Recommended Actions:
Do not install or update to this version if you haven’t already done so.
For users already on version 8.4.11, that are experiencing any of the issues detailed above we recommend rolling back to the previous stable version 8.3.16.

  • Added a new option “Don't remove custom Userinit entries” with the Windows Shell tab. 

    Note this option will remove any entries after the userinit.exe in the location below only when the secure session is active. If you are using Process Security, create the relevant rule inside the Process Security Tab.
